Collection of chasidic stories, collected and translated into German by Alexander Eliasberg, a russian Jew, who based his stories on Jewish prayerbooks and a very popular book „Kehal chasidim”. “Legends of Polish Jews”, originaly published in 1916 w Munich, were certainly read by Buber and Scholem.
